The Bachelor’s Abbie Chatfield rants about US election as Donald Trump claims early victory

The Bachelor Australia’s Abbie Chatfield, 24, has slammed Donald Trump for prematurely declaring victory in the US presidential election.

The Commander-in-chief spoke from the White House early Wednesday morning claiming to have won states that were too close to call, and asserting that Democrats were engaged in a fraudulent effort to steal the Presidency from him.

Trump made the remarks as votes were still being counted in crucial swing states including Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin.

Abbie, who has long been an outspoken critic of the Trump administration, vented her frustrations via Instagram Stories on Wednesday, accusing the Republican leader of ‘blatantly lying’.

Lying on her bed on the three-party video, a visibly agitated Abbie told her fans: ‘Trump just did a live speech and was blatantly lying!’

‘Just blatantly lying about numbers, to the point where the news had to mute him, and say, ‘We have to step in here’. Because the President is simply lying so catastrophically they had to correct him and say, ‘he’s just lying,’ she fumed.

‘How can you think this person is fit to be the President?’ The Bachelor’s Abbie Chatfield, 24, (pictured) couldn’t contain her rage as she vented about Donald Trump claiming early victory during the US election on Wednesday

Abbie continued: ‘How the f**k can you think this person is fit to [be] the President of the United States when they are blatantly lying the night of an election about numbers, on the f**king news?’

On Thursday morning, Abbie returned to Instagram Stories to urge Trump voters to ‘unfollow’ her Instagram page.

Filming herself lying in bed, Abbie ranted: ‘Trump is going to create a fascist state if he doesn’t stop right now.’

‘He’s already trying to invalidate the votes and the counting, so f**k Trump and f**k you if you like Trump. Unfollow me!’ she added, throwing up her middle finger to the camera.

Abbie made headlines in December last year when she defended her right to weigh in on American politics, after critics accused her of being ‘uneducated’.

‘I’ve had a lot of people direct message me and say, ‘stick to beauty reviews’, which I don’t even do,’ Abbie complained on her Instagram Stories.

‘Or, ‘You’re too pretty to understand what’s going on’ or, ‘You’re obviously uneducated, you have no idea what you’re talking about’,’ she continued.

The reality star claimed the comments were primarily from ‘white men’ aged between 17 and 21-years-old.

‘I just want to make it very clear that while some of you may have views that differ to mine, I have my views that are very set in stone. I’m happy to have a conversation based in fact. But I won’t change my views,’ she said.

Abbie continued: ‘For you to say that I’m uneducated and I should stick to beauty things and to just being pretty, it is completely sexist and ridiculous and offensive.’

‘Women can be multi-faceted. We can like politics and we can like reality TV. We can like science and we can like exercise. We can like more than one thing. You can be smart in more than one way,’ she said.

She went on to argue that if a man from a reality show shared their opinions, they would be praised.
