The Bachelorette rocked by bombshell claims Elly Miles previously DATED contestant Joe Woodbury – and asked producers to cast him on the show
The Bachelorette has been hit with more bombshell claims about Elly Miles’ connection to contestant Joe Woodbury.
While it has previously been reported that the pair knew each other before the show, fresh reports allege they pair were actually in a romantic relationship.
As claimed by So Dramatic! podcast, Elly, 26, ‘casually’ dated the hunky football player, 25, in the months leading up to the show, and even requested that producers cast him as a suitor.

The pair apparently began dating ‘off and on’ while they were both living in Newcastle and continued their romance long-distance in April, after Elly moved to Bondi.
According to the podcast, Elly and Joe never kept their relationship a secret from others, and would openly ‘hang out’ whenever she returned to Newcastle.
Joe and Elly have also been Instagram friends for a while, and they’ve even exchanged flirty comments.

After being named The Bachelorette alongside her sister Becky, Elly reportedly requested that producers cast Joe on the show.
Speaking anonymously to the podcast, one frustrated contestant claimed that the men knew about Joe and Elly’s romantic past, and that many felt Joe had an unfair advantage.
‘It wasn’t really a level playing field for the other guys,’ the frustrated suitor divulged.

Meanwhile, an early trailer for the season premiere show Joe greeting Elly with a surprised look on his face and they seem to recognise each other.
It’s unclear whether their romantic past will become a source of on-screen drama this season, however.
The Bachelorette premieres Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 10.
