Rebecca Judd protests the ‘un-Australian’ ban on barbecues in her local council area after just THREE complaints were made

Rebecca Judd has protested the ‘un-Australian’ ban on barbecues in her local council after a mere three complaints were made.

Speaking on her 3pm Pick-Up radio show on Monday, the AFL WAG, 37, vented to her co-host Monty Dimond: ‘That’s all you need to challenge a local law – just three complaints!’

The mother-of-four said she would be objecting the decision before it was permanently put in place because having a ‘barbie in her backyard’ was a significant part of Australia’s laid-back culture.

‘It’s just ridiculous!’ Rebecca Judd, 37, has protested the ‘un-Australian’ ban on barbecues in her local council after a mere three complaints were made

Rebecca said: ‘Get this, my local council here in Victoria is considering banning barbecues!’

Adding context, she said anything using ‘wood as fuel’, such as fire-pits and wood-fired ovens, would potentially be prohibited.

Rebecca expressed her shock that the ban was being considered as a result of just three complaints.

However, she said she would be taking action.

‘I’m going to go on the website and do their survey [on the potential ban]. I’m going to object!’ she declared.

When asked by Monty is she was really going to take those actions, Rebecca added: ‘Well, it’s just ridiculous, it’s un-Australian!’

Rebecca and her husband, retired AFL star Chris Judd, are currently in lockdown at their $7.3million mansion in Melbourne with their four children, son Oscar, nine, daughter Billie, six, and twins Tom and Darcy, three.

On Tuesday, the beauty revealed once again just how hard it was to look after her kids during lockdown, as she shared an Instagram video of the mess her twins had made in her front room.

Rebecca previously admitted she was struggling to home school her children and joked that she had considered day drinking to cope.
