Big Brother’s biggest secret exposed: Ex-contestant Tully Smyth reveals there are THREE narrators – including a woman – but only one is heard on TV

The voice of Big Brother has been an iconic part of the reality series for 20 years.

But former housemate Tully Smyth has revealed a surprising secret about the invisible narrator: ‘he’ is actually three different people.

She claimed there had been three Big Brothers during her season on Channel Nine in 2013, but viewers only got to hear one of them.

In addition to the standard male voice, Tully said, there had been a ‘younger, hotter’ Big Brother as well as a female Big Brother.

When asked if she’d ever met Big Brother in person, she told Mamamia last year: ‘Which one? There were a few and we met most of them at the wrap party, which was surreal.’

Tully revealed that Leon Murray – the main Big Brother – who was the voice behind the nominations and evictions which viewers heard – was a ‘lovely guy’.

She then spoke about the other two, who were known only to the contestants.

‘There was also a “Hot Big Brother”, a.k.a. Pete Cunningham, who was definitely more flirty. I had a crush on him which proved hilarious when I met him at the wrap party and found out he was gay!’ Tully said.

‘Finally, we had “Lady Big Brother”, who would work the weekend shift and wake us up with her silky smooth voice, telling us all about the sun shining and birds chirping.’

The female Big Brother was voiced of Lisa Fardy, who was the show’s producer and had already met most of the housemates during the audition process.

Meanwhile, Tully recently shared her views on Big Brother’s reboot on Twitter.

The model and influencer tweeted her thoughts on the premiere last week and admitted she was ‘a little disappointed’ that the format had changed so much.

‘Well then. As suspected, I’m a little disappointed the show’s original format has changed SO much BUT it’s early days,’ she wrote.

‘I’m sure they’ll all grow on us over time… happy to have the big guy back on our screens regardless.’

Tully also said she didn’t think that evictions were the same without a live audience, and that she thought the bedroom in the new house is ‘tiny’.

During her stint on the show in 2013, she became embroiled in an affair scandal.

Tully cheated on her then-girlfriend, Tahlia Farrant, with fellow housemate Anthony Drew, sparking a national outrage.
