Karl Stefanovic explodes as Allison Langdon reveals the bizarre rumour she heard about him

Karl Stefanovic and Allison Langdon happily started co-hosting the Today show together in January. 

But on Wednesday, Karl, 45, exploded when Ally, 41, revealed the bizarre rumour she had heard about him before they started working together. 

The pair appeared on KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O Show when Ally revealed she heard Karl suffered from a lot of ‘flatulence.’

But before her answer was revealed, Karl jokingly guessed she heard the rumour that he and shock jock Kyle Sandilands were ‘gay.’ 

‘We asked Ally what was the worst rumour she heard about you, before she started working with you. What do you think she said?’ Jackie O said. 

Karl responded, joking: ‘That Kyle and I are gay, maybe?’

Allison cheekily quipped: ‘Not they said rumour!’ 

Kyle chimed in and joked she heard about the ‘small penis rumours.’ 

‘Small penis rumours? You didn’t hear them? She would have heard that, it’s been around the newsroom for decades,’ Kyle joked, with Karl soon shutting him down.

Jackie then revealed that Ally mentioned Karl’s supposed ‘flatulence,’ with Karl firing up about it. 

‘What the hell! That is bulls**t! I do not ever fart! You’re the one who farted that time,’ he said to Ally, who then said she has ‘never farted’ on the desk.  

Karl hit back, saying she once told him that one ‘snuck out.’   

Karl and Ally started hosting the Today show in January, with the pair starting earlier than expected to cover the bushfire disaster at the time.  

Karl was famously fired from the program in December 2018, after 14 years of hosting the long-running TV show.

The announcement came shortly after his wedding to Jasmine Yarbrough, amid growing scrutiny surrounding his personal life.
