It’s a cult classic of Nineties cinema.

And Vanessa Hudgens paid homage to 1996 film The Craft when she wore an oversize T-shirt bearing an image of the horror-fantasy flick’s poster on Thursday.

The 31-year-old actress added to her Nineties vibe by tying back her brunette tresses in a scrunchie.

She added another touch from the newly-fashionable decade by donning a pair of bike shorts.

The Craft was a modest hit upon its release in 1996, earning over $55 million against a production budget of $15 million.

The film, about four teen witches in Los Angeles, made a star of its lead, Neve Campbell, and also starred other big names from the decade like Skeet Ulrich, Fairuza Balk and Robin Tunney.

A reboot of the film by Blumhouse Productions was announced in March 2019.

While Vanessa was being safety conscious by wearing a face mask on Thursday, she initially had different thoughts about the coronavirus pandemic back in March.

The High School Musical star was slammed after she described efforts to contain the virus as ‘bull****’.

She had said that everyone is going to get it anyway and that deaths are ‘inevitable’.

However, she later insisted the comments had been taken out of context, and apologized for the remarks, calling the experience a ‘huge wake up call.’

She tweeted: ‘Hey guys. I’m so sorry for the way I have offended anyone and everyone who has seen the clip from my Instagram Live yesterday.’

‘I realize my words were insensitive and not at all appropriate for the situation our country and the world are in right now.

‘This has been a huge wake up call about the significance my words have, now more than ever.

‘I am sending safe wishes to everyone to stay safe and healthy during this crazy time.’
