March is playing out to be a memorable — and potentially life-saving —  month for Sharon Stone.

The Academy Award-nominated actress received the first batch of her upcoming memoir in the mail on March 9; celebrated her 63rd birthday the following day on March 10; and now she’s received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Sunday, March 21..

‘Got my first vaccine. Come to @coreresponse / Carbon Health. It was easy to get an appointment,’ she captioned a photo showing herself getting the vaccination shot in her left arm.

Potentially life-saving: Sharon Stone, 63, took to Instagram on Sunday  to reveal that she received the first of two COVID-19 vaccinations

The Casino star sat outdoors for her first of the two shots she will need for maximum protection while dressed in a black corduroy top.

Being an advocate for coronavirus awareness over this past year, Stone made sure to wear a protective mask over her mouth and nose during her appointment.

Like many people in the U.S. and around the world, the Pennsylvania native has had to deal with the tragic results of COVID-19, as it claimed the lives of her grandmother and godmother in Montana.

Plus, Stone’s sister, Kelly, and brother-in-law, Bruce, had to be hospitalized last summer, where they were described at one point as ‘fighting for their lives’ during their health crisis.

The couple got through the worst of the symptoms and eventually tested negative for the coronavirus in September of last year, according to Stone’s social media posts.

Stone has also been using her social media platforms to promote her upcoming memoir — The Beauty of Living Twice — that’s set to hit shelves on March 30.
