He’s been busy directing his movie, Journal For Jordan – and on Wednesday, Denzel Washington was pictured having an intense moment with a fan.

The movie star, 66, was by his car when the fan walked over to him with a sack of photos for him to sign in New York City

The pair engaged in an intense conversation with the actor looking like he was given the fan some pearls of wisdom.

What is going on? Denzel Washington had an intense moment with fan who asked him to sign a photo for him on set of his movie Journal For Jordan in NYC on Wednesday

He placed his hands on his shoulder and looked deep in his eyes, looking like he was forgetting to keep socially distanced for a second.

While Denzel had his mask on, the fan had his pulled down to his chin for the moment as the Hollywood star placed his hands around his face.

An onlooker claimed he told the fan to ‘say a prayer’ but it is not known what they were talking about.

Journal for Jordan is an upcoming American drama film directed by Denzel Washington and starring Michael B. Jordan, 34, and Chanté Adams, 26.

The motion picture is centered around the relationship between First Sergeant Charles Monroe King and journalist Dana Canedy, whose 2008 memoir provides material for the movie.

King had kept journals of his deployment in the Iraq War – in which he perished in 2006 – with messages for his son Jordan, who was seven months old at the time his father died.

Both Jordan and Washington are producers on the dramatic film, as Jordan said he was ‘a sponge right now’ working with the Hollywood icon.

‘Being directed by the GOAT – Denzel, himself – and being able to work with a very talented cast and actress in Chanté Adams, it’s something that I’ve been looking forward to,’ he told The Hollywood Reporter earlier this month.

Jordan added, ‘We’re having a blast and I’m getting a masterclass and a crazy education on character development, directing, and producing from Todd Black and Denzel Washington. It’s a great thing.’

He said the the project offered him a new genre to explore in his career, which is best defined by his work on films such as Black Panther and Creed.

‘It’s a love story,’ he told the outlet. ‘I haven’t had the opportunity to do an intimate love story before.’
