Alessandra Ambrosio looks ethereal as she celebrates second anniversary of her swimwear brand

Alessandra Ambrosio founded her swimwear brand GAL Floripa with her sister Aline Ambrosio and friend Gisele Coria two years ago.

And the Victoria’s Secret Angel and supermodel celebrated the second anniversary of her brand with her mother Lucilda, her daughter Anja, 12, son Noah, eight, and Aline on the beach in Florianopolis, Brazil with friends.

The bikini line was inspired by the city as well as the sisterhood between Alessandra, Aline and Gisele.

The GAL Floripa Instagram shared a photo of the sunset with a caption about the special day.

It read: ‘2.02 Today we celebrate Yemanja. She is the divinity known in Brazil as the mother and queen of the seas, who represents the feminine principle of creation and the spirit of moonlight.’

Adding: ‘It’s a very special day for us because, exactly 2 years ago, Yemanja’s day was the date chosen to launch the Gal Floripa brand.’ 

The peaceful and zen filled day took place at the beach with the group, which included activities like meditation and prayers.

The calming day in celebration of the brand also included group pictures – with Alessandra and Aline posing with Anja and Lucilda – making a three generational photo.

Alessandra, 39, looked gorgeous in a blue ruffled bikini top, adding a white skirt featuring sheer elements.

The stunning runway beauty also wore a matching white crop top over her bikini top featuring a brown pop of color in the center.

Aline donned a long white flowy dress, while Gisele chose a light blue bikini top with a long white skirt and her long blonde hair loose and in waves.

Anja chose an all white look while Lucilda donned a cream colored button up frock.

The group snapped pictures in the water while holding flowers after enjoying a relaxing session on the beach.

The group sat in front of an elaborate shell and floral display with baskets of white flowers next to them.

Afterwards, a woman was seen going to each person and saying some sort of prayer over their heads.

There was also dancing with candles lit all around the group, with attendees making sure to capture the memorable moment with their phones.

Gal Floripa celebrates the trio – Alessandra, Aline and Gisele’s motherland roots to Brazil as well as their sisterhood bonds.

Their brand’s website also explained that the name stems from the city of Floripa as well as the synergy between the three women. 

Alessandra, Aline and Gisele – the co-founders for the brand – posed in the ocean together with a single rose in each of their hands.

The trio coordinated in their white and blue ensembles with beach waves.

Alessandra also took time to pose for family portraits with her kids Anja and Noah.

On the official website, Alessandra said her childhood with Aline and Gisele in Brazil: ‘Growing up in Brazil, Gisele, Aline and I spent most of our summer together by the beach, immersed in the beauty of Florianoplis, known as “The Magic Island,” and spending almost every moment of the day in our swimwear.’

Adding: ‘It makes sense that swimwear became like a second skin.’

The site says that the ‘spirit of GAL Floripa is aligned with Mother Nature’s essence; it’s many rhythms and flows, mysteries and magnificence, as well as connection of its elements with women’s lives.’
