She announced last week that she had gotten engaged to her boyfriend Sergio José Carrallo Pendás.
But Caroline Stanbury was forced to keep her distance from the retired soccer player after revealing on Wednesday that she had tested positive for COVID-19.
Despite her illness, the 44-year-old former Ladies Of London star sounded upbeat and seemed to still be feeling well in updates she posted to her Instagram Stories.

‘I feel absolutely great this morning,’ she told her fans in a video shared from her bed on Thursday.
The reality TV star kept her isolation look ultra casual with a plain white T-shirt and a pair of salmon-colored sweatpants.
‘I guess I got it around New Year’s, but who knows. I wouldn’t have changed anything. You can get it anywhere,’ she said.
So far, she hadn’t been too bothered by her symptoms.

‘Today my eyes are a little bit heavy, that’s about it. I just feel like I’ve got a bad cold — my throat is sore,’ she said in a follow-up video. ‘I’m doing fine.’
Although Caroline wanted to spend time with her fiancé Sergio, she had to keep plenty of distance so as not to infect him.
She shared photos of the two FaceTiming, as well as a video of him standing across the room from her while masked.
While she was cooped up on her own, the 26-year-old athlete took care of her children and cooked their meals.
‘He’s dying here. It’s quite full-on for someone who hasn’t done this before, so he’s being amazing,’ she said in another playful clip.

The London-bred stylist shared in an earlier Instagram post that she had traveled to Dubai to celebrate New Year’s Eve with Sergio, despite recommendations not to travel amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, which has been surging throughout much of the world.
She also posted messages from friends and fans trying to reassure her that everyone will catch COVID-19 during the pandemic and excusing her trip.
On Saturday, Caroline she revealed that the former Real Madrid player had asked her to marry him.
