Shoppers have been left stunned by a Guess Who-style game from B&M which features no ethnic minority characters and only four women.
Chris Gay, from Hull, took to Twitter to share the observation alongside a photograph of the Headband Guess Game.
It shows a series of male characters including a chef, knight, astronaut, soldier, police officer, professor, scientist and various sportsmen, with the four females depicted as a maid, a nurse, a mermaid and a green witch.
Chris shared the post with a caption that read: ‘Hey @bmstores, your game should come with a warning it’s not suitable for anyone born after 1955… #everydaysexism.’

Out of the 24 characters, just four are women and none are from ethnic backgrounds.
The post has since been met with furious reaction from other social media users with some branding it ‘shocking’.
One user wrote: ‘Ugh! @bmstores did your designers come up with this or did you buy it in?
‘Either way, as an ex-retail buyer, this shows serious lack of product awareness.’
The game, currently listed on the retailer’s website for £6.99, states that it is suitable for children aged five and above

A third said: ‘It’s also pretty poor that the only person of colour is someone who is green.’
And a fourth simply commented: ‘Yuck.’
