The Bachelorette’s Elly Miles reveals her drink was SPIKED at a bar

Elly Miles has had an emotional few weeks following her heartbreaking split from Frazer Neate earlier this month.

And on Wednesday, the Newcastle-based Bachelorette revealed in a series of Instagram Stories that her drink was spiked during a recent night out.

The 26-year-old used her platform to ‘spread the word’ about what she experienced and told her fans she ‘never thought it would happen’. 

Luckily for the bubbly blonde, her sister, and fellow Bachelorette, Becky, 30, was with her that night and quick to notice that something was wrong.  

‘I was very lucky Becky was with me and was able to recognise very soon that something wasn’t right with me, and get me home, and get me safe and take care of me,’ she said.

‘I found out this happened to another girl that night too, it could have been more as well… I just want to say be careful of your drinks, take good care of your friends,’ Elly cautioned.

The reality TV starlet explained that she doesn’t ‘remember a thing’ of what happened that night and was told she didn’t recognise people she knew.

‘Apparently I was fine one second, and then just bloody limp the next, and unable to walk, in and out of consciousness, violently ill. Apparently it was pretty scary.’

The Bachelorette star said she is doing fine now, adding: ‘I don’t remember a thing past a certain point and then apparently it was all just downhill from there.’

Elly also noted that the bar owner is aware of what happened and is checking security footage.

She went on to urge her fans to be careful and to ‘take care of yourself, take care of your friends’ on nights out. 

This horrible incident comes after Elly confirmed her long-rumoured split from Frazer Neate.

She said in a video on Instagram: ‘I honestly gave everything I had to that show and to him and so for it to not work out, it’s pretty devastating.’

‘It’s a bit of a quick turnaround I guess to go from thinking you found the person you wanna be with forever to being single again,’ she admitted.

‘I know I’m gonna be fine though. I wasn’t happy for a little while there, and I know from my end I gave it absolutely everything I had.’

Elly choked back years as she addressed the rumours of cheating that have been reported in the media since The Bachelorette finale in early November.

‘I know there’s a lot of allegations towards Frazer about cheating on me and stuff. Whether it’s true or not, I don’t know, that’s not the reason we broke up,’ she said.

‘He says it’s not true but f**k, who knows, honestly,’ she added.
