Socialites show off their VERY lavish Christmas decorations 

With most Britons staying at home this Christmas due to coronavirus restrictions, brightening up our houses and adding some festive spirit with are decorations has become even more important.

Even socialites across the nation haven’t been able to resist plastering their abodes with very glamorous Yuletide decor in an apparent bid to cheer themselves up this year.

Leading the elite showcasing their lavish trinkets and furnishings are Lady Violet Manners, Poppy Delevingne and the Marchioness of Bath, who all shared a glimpse of their festive looks on Instagram.

Model Poppy, 34, who shared a stunning snap of her Christmas decor to her social media account this week, ensured her tree was the main event.

Filled with plenty of dazzling lights, red bows and dainty ornaments, the eye-catching festive piece offered a masterclass in winter style.

The actress posted the snap with the caption: ‘It might not feel like Christmas now, but home certainly looks the part,’ before encouraging her followers to keep ‘smiling through this tricky time.’

But that wasn’t the only enviable tree to fill newsfeeds this season, with Lady Violet Manners, 27, daughter of Emma Manners, Duchess of Rutland, highlighting the spectacular tree found at her family’s estate Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire. 

She shared the image with some lovely news, writing: ‘So so exciting that after much back and forth with the local council, Belvoir Castle has been given the go ahead to welcome families to enjoy a safe festive experience at Belvoir.’

The castle’s attention-grabbing centrepiece was jam-packed with elegant decorations to fit the owl theme.

Violet’s sister Lady Eliza Manners, 23, also delighted her 11,900 Instagram followers with a festive snap last week.

She showed off a regal Christmas fireplace, adorned with a sparkling garland, found in her Belvoir Castle home.

Often ahead of the trend, former Strictly star Emma Weymouth, the Marchioness of Bath, showcased her splendid festive decor in a TikTok video earlier this month. 

She revealed a dazzling red-themed Christmas tree at Longleat House, while matching her glamorous outfit to the piece.

‘If only installing a tree was this easy,’ she joked after sharing a clip of the decoration instantly being furnished. ‘Kept the boys and me busy for hours,’ she added.

Sitting on an elegant wooden table, a red and gold display offers a stunning view – filled with candles, plants and heart ornaments.

Lydia, who posted the stunning photo yesterday, is also a close friend of Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice and a regular on the London social scene.
