She was labelled the ‘villain’ on Matt Agnew’s season of The Bachelor last year, and it looks like Abbie Chatfield may soon be returning to TV screens.

A new clue posted on Instagram by Channel 10 all but confirms the 25-year-old is joining the cast of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

The clue hints that a ‘blonde bombshell’ known for ‘dropping some bombs’ will be entering the jungle camp.

It continues: ‘She loves playing the villain… but to many she’s a hero.’

As fans will know, Abbie got the ‘bad girl’ edit on The Bachelor as a result of her straightforward personality and blunt honesty.

But she won the public over afterwards by reinventing herself as feminist podcaster, and is now considered one of the franchise’s success stories.

It comes after Channel 10 dropped a new promotional video last week which featured a number of contestants disguised by emojis.

Although their faces were obscured and their voices altered in the clip, fans were convinced one of the stars had to be Abbie. 

One woman with blonde hair had a shark emoji covering her face. The hairstyle perfectly matched Abbie’s appearance in recent photos.

She said: ‘I don’t think my job has prepared me for life in the jungle when it comes to any of the camping.

‘But I think after filming two reality TV shows, I can handle meeting new people and dealing with ones I don’t like’.

Abbie has indeed starred in two reality shows: The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise.

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! begins on January 3 on Channel 10
