Malik Beasley has entered a guilty plea to violent threats stemming from an incident at his rental home in Plymouth, Minnesota three months ago.

The 24-year-old NBA player, who has been linked to Larsa Pippen as of late, will serve his sentence after the 2020-21 NBA season ends, his lawyers Steven Haney and Ryan Pacyga told The Athletic Monday.

The charge for Beasley, who plays guard for the Timberwolves, will be classified as a misdemeanor instead of a felony once his probation is complete, according to the report.

Beasley in November faced charges of felony threats of violence and fifth-degree drug possession in connection with a September 26 exchange with a couple and their teen daughter in which he pointed an assault rifle at the family.

The incident occurred during a Parade of Homes tour in the upscale area. A subsequent search of his home led to drug charges after authors recovered almost two pounds of marijuana on the premises.

A fifth-degree drug possession was dropped in accord with his plea.

Beasley has been in the limelight as of late after he was romantically linked with Larsa Pippen, 46, NBA icon Scottie Pippen’s estranged wife, after they were seen holding hands in Miami November 23.

His wife Montana Yao, 24, who he shares one-year-old son Makai with, has filed for divorce amid his dealings with Larsa, a former confidante of Kim Kardashian. He and Yao exchanged vows March 5, 2020, prior to the pandemic lockdown.

‘Things have been pretty rough I’m not going to [lie],’ the Instagram model said in a December 9 post on the site. ‘We were told to leave our family home 10 days ago and just like you all I’m pretty confused.’

She added, ‘I’m focusing on healing myself and becoming the best mother I can be at this time.’

Beasley, who previously played for the Denver Nuggets, last month inked a $60 million, four-year pact with the team.
