It begins with Wiig and cast-member Mikey Day coming downstairs the morning after Christmas, as Chloe Fineman and Kyle Mooney play Cindy and her brother.

The inquisitive kids ask what their parents were up to the night before, to which they explain they ‘had a little too much Who Punch.’

The blushing parents assure their kids not to worry about it, just as Davidson’s hairy green Grinch comes downstairs in their dad’s bathrobe in underwear.

Wiig explains that he stayed the night because it was so late, and when Mooney asks where he slept, dad says it doesn’t matter.

Wiig revived a couple of her most memorable SNL characters, as she made her fourth appearance as celebrity guest host of the variety show.

She put on a glam display for her portrayal of ’50s movie star Mindy Elise Grayson for a few rounds on the game show Secret Word.

After Kenan Thompson’s host Grant Choad explains the rules, including not to say the word, Mindy runs out the clock before blurting out her word ‘wrap.’

She then takes a second to plug her new movie, bragging about its less than favorable reviews: ‘The New York Times said “uh-oh!”‘

Her next phrase is ‘trimming the tree,’ which confuses her, as she remarks: ‘I don’t know why anyone would want to do this. You could, but you’d get splinters in your mouth.’
