Australian funnyman Andy Lee has been spotted fleeing Adelaide to return to his hometown for Christmas, as COVID-19 fears continue to rise across the country.
On Saturday morning, the popular comedian, 39, was pictured walking through Adelaide Airport after watching the cricket with his family in the city just days prior.
Andy, like many others, has dropped everything to catch a flight back home, as state border restrictions become stricter following a surge of coronavirus cases in New South Wales.

It’s believed Andy is heading home for festive season to spend time with his girlfriend, Rebecca Harding, in their Mornington Peninsula home in Victoria.
The comic appeared in high spirits as he waltzed through the airport, donning a protective mask on his face.
He looked cool yet casual in a navy hoodie, stone-coloured shorts and white trainers.
