Dua Lipa made a bold style statement as she stepped out in New York City on Sunday after her Saturday Night Live appearance.

The singer, 25, carried her beloved pet pooch, Dexter, who she rescued with boyfriend Anwar Hadid from the Labelle Foundation in Los Angeles on July 31.

Dua showcased her bold sense of style in a pair of oversized lime green sunglasses as she stepped out in the Big Apple.

The singer teamed the accessory with a pair of black corduroy flared trousers and an oversized white jumper.

Dua wrapped up warmly against the December chill with an oversized leather biker jacket. 

Adding some finishing touches, the star wore a pair of black platform trainers and a face mask amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Dua styled her brunette locks into a sweptback hairdo, she appeared to go makeup-free for her outing.

It comes after the star put on a show-stopping performance in more ways than once when she made her appearance as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live.

The 25-year-old British beauty looked sensational as she graced the New York City stage of the hit comedy sketch show in a selection of designer gowns on Saturday.

New Rules hitmaker Dua wowed as she donned a vintage, leopard-print top designed by Alaïa while performing her chart-topping hit Don’t Start Now.

When she returned later returned to the stage, the London native dazzled in a white Valentino ensemble that included a plunging gown with a high slit and long train.

Dua also made a sketch appearance during the episode, which was hosted by former SNL regular Kristen Wiig and was the last of the year.  

The beauty has been making the most of her time in NYC and has been spotted on several strolls as well as posing in front of the Rockefeller Christmas Tree.

December has been a busy month for the star, with her performing at a warehouse in the UK for her Studio 2054 virtual gig.

She was joined by a number of guest performers during the event including Kylie Minogue, Elton John, FKA twigs, Bad Bunny and Miley Cyrus. The show broke online records, with five million views.

 Dua also put on show-stopping performance as she sang a stripped-down rendition of track, Boys Will Be Boys, at the virtual Billboard Women in Music event last week.

The British star, whose album Future Nostalgia is nominated for the 2021 Grammy Awards’ coveted Album Of The Year prize, later took home the Powerhouse Award.
