Impeachment: American Crime Story production ‘halted over multiple COVID-19 positive tests on set’

Production has reportedly been halted on Impeachment: American Crime Story.

Insiders alleged to TMZ that ‘multiple’ people on set among the cast and crew tested positive for COVID-19, resulting in the precaution. No individuals who may have tested positive have been identified.

The shoot is said to have been a little more than a month underway in Los Angeles on the FX anthology series, which covers the Clinton scandals of the 1990s.

DailyMail.com has reached out to FX for comment. 

According to the TMZ sources no decision has been made yet with regards to when the production will be able to restart.

FilmLA, which is the permit office for Los Angeles, told TMZ that the production had not gotten in touch with them about the alleged situation.

Impeachment: American Crime Story’s production office has not yet responded to more than one request for comment from TMZ.

Beanie Feldstein and Sarah Paulson, who are respectively playing Monica Lewinsky and Linda Tripp, were spotted on set only this Monday.

Everyone in the on-set pictures that surfaced Monday was wearing a mask, and multiple people including Beanie were additionally wearing face shields.

Ryan Murphy and his frequent collaborator Brad Falchuk are executive producers on American Crime Story which has had two seasons so far.

The first season was about the O.J. Simpson trial and won Sarah an Emmy for her performance as prosecutor Marcia Clark.

Then came a season about Gianni Versace’s murder which featured Glee star Darren Criss as the serial killer Andrew Cunanan.
