Joe Wicks has been crowned the UK’s top trending YouTuber of the year after a staggering 72 per cent of Britons used the site for home workouts during lockdown.
The fitness guru, 35, known as The Body Coach, uploaded daily online PE lessons during lockdown with one million people subscribing to his YouTube channel in the space of a week and raising £580,000 for the NHS.
Father-of-two Joe, who has 2.6million YouTube subscribers, was also awarded an MBE in October which he described as his ‘proudest achievement to date’.

Joe, who shares daughter Indie and son Marley with wife Rosie, also claimed a Guinness World Record for live streaming after one of his online classes attracted almost a million viewers.
The Body Coach is rumoured to be worth nearly £6million after becoming the nation’s PE teacher.
According to The Sun, his company Joe Wicks Ltd has assets of £3,478,270 and investments worth £3,722,256.
It looks after the fitness expert’s projects including his TV and books and online videos. The accounts show that the coach also had £343,838 cash in the bank.

2. MrBeast
The American YouTube star, 22, known as MrBeast, is the second top creator based on in-country subscribers gained in 2020.
The prankster, from Kansas, has 47.5 million subscribers, is best known for his attention-grabbing content and first went viral in 2017 when he filmed a video of him counting to 100,000 which he revealed took him 44 hours.

In 2019 Elon Musk donated $1 million (around £776,000) towards MrBeast’s campaign to plant 20 million trees — and then mischievously changed his Twitter name to ‘Treelon’.
The #TeamTrees campaign began as a challenge to Jimmy to commemorate his 20 millionth subscriber.
3. Sidemen
Sidemen are a group of seven British YouTubers who formed a gaming group in 2013.
The YouTube channel, which has 10.1million subscribers, is made up Olajide ‘JJ’ Olatunji, known as KSI, Harry Lewis, known as Wroetoshaw, Simon Minter, known as Miniminter, Vik Barn, known as Vikkstar123, Josh Bradley, known as Zerkaa, Ethan Payne, known as Behzinga and Tobi Brown who goes by the name of Tobjizzle.

The channel has grown to have its own Sidemen merchandise and they released a single in 2019 called The Gift.
4. Dream
Clay, 21, known as Dream, from Florida, has 14.1 million YouTube subscribers for his Minecraft uploads.
Dream went from around one million subscribers in January to his current following which has earned him his place as the fourth top creator.
He first uploaded on February 13 2014 where he is filmed showing off a trap with players.

5. Eboys
The Eboys are a group of four YouTubers who boast a following of 1.28million subscribers.

The group is made up of George, 22, known as Memeulous, from London, William Jonathan Lenney, known as WillNE, from Newcastle upon Tyne, Alex Elmslie, 21, known as ImAllexx and James William Marriott, 23, from Switzerland who lives in London.
The channel, which was founded in April 2020, posts weekly videos ranging from Eboys £10 versus £1,000 takeaway along with Eboys Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
6. LazarBeam
Lannan Eacott, 26, known as LazarBeam, only joined YouTube in 2015, but he has already amassed 17.5 million subscribers on his channel.
The Austrailian YouTuber is known for his videos about Fortnite: Battle Royale, and often makes hilarious memes about the popular videogame for social media.

He currently lives in Sydney with his sister Tannar who has her own YouTube channel boasting 1.19million subscribers and posts prank, taste test and reaction content.
7. Niko Omilana
Nikolas Omilana, 22, from Staffordshire, has 3.06million subscribers and is best known for his prank-style videos which include opening a fake McDonald’s drive thru.
The YouTuber first started making content at 13 where he filmed Fifa gaming content.
Niko has also a number of YouTube prank videos where he pretends to be an employee at chains such as McDonald’s, Starbucks, Subway and IKEA.

8. ZHC
Zachary Hsieh, 22, San Jose, California, is better known as ZHC which stands for Zachary Hsieh Comic Art, and has 17.8million YouTube subscribers.
ZHC, who started his YouTube channel in 2013, amassed his following through customising iPhones, Lamborghinis and £7,500 Balenciaga trainers.
The YouTuber, who first began uploading content on how-to art tutorials, has also featured a video drawing for 100 hours which amassed 5.5 million views.

Harley Campbell, 18, known as Fresh, is an Australian YouTuber who rose to fame for his Fortnite gaming uploads.
The YouTuber who joined the video uploading channel in January 2016, has amassed a total of 6.93 million subscribers.
Fresh rose to fame after playing Fortnite with fellow gaming stars such as LazarBeam.
