Katie Holmes and her lookalike daughter Suri Cruise are flexing their crafty side.
On Sunday the 41-year-old Dawson’s Creek actress stepped out with her 14-year-old daughter – who she shares with ex husband of six years Tom Cruise – as they picked up some art supplies from Michael’s in New York City.
The mother-daughter duo looked laidback in denim as they spent the afternoon together during a creative outing.

Holmes showed off her slim frame in a pair of bootcut jeans and a fuzzy grey and white striped cardigan.
She paired the look with a pair of classic white sneakers for comfort as she carried a leather tote and threw her hair back in a low ponytail.
Meanwhile, Suri was almost as tall as her mom as she walked beside her in a denim jacket and a pair of black pants.

She completed the look with furry Ugg boots and kept her enviable brown locks down that fell just below her bust.
Looking a bit tired Holmes clasped a cup of coffee in her hand as they spent the afternoon walking around the city while suited up in face masks.
Katie took a brief moment to check her phone as she and her daughter kept their devices strapped to their hand.
In recent weeks the Batman Begins actress has been nearly inseparable with restaurateur beau Emilio Vitolo, 33, as the pair are frequently seen out on dates packing on the PDA.

The two were first linked in September as they put on an amorous display outside a trendy bistro in Soho.
Though Emilio was engaged when the pair first met on the set of an indie project, he swiftly called off his engagement via text message just two days before the photos of them surfaced.
Sources close to Vitolo were quick to say that the engaged couple were having problems and he had a knack for older women which made Katie more his speed.

As the two become serious Katie has reportedly introduced him to Suri and the three spent part of Thanksgiving together before she and Suri went upstate without him.
A source told ET, ‘He adores Suri and they get along great, but Katie has always been really good about ensuring she and Suri continue to have a lot of quality time just the two of them.’
Reportedly Katie sees real potential in the relationship as an insider told Us Weekly, ‘In her mind, this is the real deal, they’re riding a beautiful wave together, and she’s already decided it’s got the potential to go all the way.’
