But Simon Cowell is reportedly set to return to screens next month in his first public TV appearance since his horrific injury.
The TV mogul, 61, will virtually appear at the Fayre of St James’s 2020 Christmas Concert on 1 December, according to an event description.

He was forced to step down as the head judge of Britain’s Got Talent after his accident, but will star in the charity concert after months recovering at his LA home.
And he is just one of the famous faces who is set to speak at the festivities, with Jack Whitehall, Rupert Everett and Phoebe Waller-Bridge also making appearances.
The Christmas carol concert has been forced to move online amid the coronavirus pandemic but still hopes to raise vital funds for The Childhood Trust and The Felix Project.
The wintery evening will be hosted by comedian Stephen Fry and will also see performances from James Bay, James Blunt, Emeli Sandé, Craig David and Katie Melua.

Simon’s return to TV will come before he is reportedly set to return as a panelist on Britain’s Got Talent in the new year.
Simon was replaced on the live shows by Diversity star Ashley Banjo, 32, while Amanda Holden, 49, was promoted to head judge.
Various guest stars also filled in for him on America’s Got Talent, including singer Kelly Clarkson, 38.
The British talent show is set to host a fun-filled Christmas special this year, but Simon will reportedly not return in time for the festive spectacular.

However, he has reportedly given producers a guarantee of his comeback and is apparently ‘raring to go’ in January following his recovery.
A source previously told The Sun: ‘Simon was gutted at having to sit out the show this year. But he’s been totally focused on getting better and will definitely be back on the panel.’
They continued: ‘He’s come on in leaps and bounds recently, thanks to letting his body heal, a healthy diet and some California sun. He’s also enjoyed being surrounded by his family.
‘But he loves his job and is raring to go, especially as BGT offers so much joy and light entertainment in dark times.’
