The stars of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! were forced to abseil down a cliff and had to battle through a gruesome critter-filled trial in Sunday’s launch show.
And Shane Richie and Jordan North were also revealed as the two unlucky celebrities who will face the reality TV show’s horrifying bushtucker trial tomorrow night.
At the end of Sunday’s episode, hosts Ant and Dec joined the ten campmates inside Gwrych Castle in Abergele, North Wales, to announce who had been chosen for the first voted challenge.
Chosen ones: Shane Richie and Jordan North were also revealed as the two unlucky celebrities who will face the reality TV show’s horrifying bushtucker trial tomorrow night
The next trial, called Viper Vault, will see the unfortunate celebrities sealed into a vault where they will be joined by hoards of slithering snakes.
The contestants will then have to open a number of locked safes to win stars for the rest of the camp, while attempting to ignore the scary reptiles.
The EastEnders actor, 56, put his head in his hands as the duo revealed that he would be doing the squeamish trial alongside the radio host, 30.
Jordan, who has already had an unsteady start to the series, looked terrified as it was announced that the public had voted for him to also take part in the challenge.

The terrifying task will be especially challenging for Jordan, who revealed to MailOnline last week that one of his biggest fears are, unfortunately, snakes.
He continued: ‘I’m so scared of snakes. I’m hoping with it not being in Australia there won’t be any snakes or any big poisonous ones anywhere.’
The Radio One DJ has already faced his fear of heights in the launch show, after the contestants were forced to abseil over a cliff to retrieve backpacks filled with supplies for their first night in camp.
From the start, Jordan struggled with the prospect of abseiling down the perilous cliff, and was sick in the grass before saying: ‘I can’t believe I was sick, I’ve only been here five minutes and I’m puking up already.’

Jordan was the last star to take on the treacherous cliff, but despite struggling with the height he managed to abseil down and reach the rucksack.
Soon after recovering from the first challenge, he struggled yet again when the stars took part in a gruesome critter-filled trial named The Gates Of Hell to get their first camp meal.
The celebrities were locked in dungeon cages, with just 12 minutes to pass ten stars from one side to the other, moving the objects along to their campmates with either their hands or a magnet.
Once the celebrities were securely locked into their cages with no escape, hoards of cockroaches, crickets and mealworms rain down on their heads in a bid to distract them.

Jordan screamed in terror and battled with the swarm of insects that rained down on his head during the horrifying challenge – but still managed to complete the task.
But he was not the only one who was left traumatised, as Coronation Street legend Beverley Callard, 63, also screamed while taking part in The Gates Of Hell trial.
Jordan is among ten celebrities joining the first ever UK series of I’m A Celebrity this year, after coronavirus saw the show relocate to Wales from Australia.
And joining him in the castle this year are presenter Vernon Kay, 46, Olympic champion Sir Mo Farah, 37, and Corrie icon Beverley Callard.

And also competing for the title of King or Queen of the Castle will be AJ Pritchard, 26; Shane Richie, 56; Victoria Derbyshire, 52; Hollie Arnold, 26, and Jessica Plummer, 28.
Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are hosting the series once again, while Vick Hope is fronting The Daily Drop, a brand-new series following all camp activity, available on ITV Hub every morning after the main show.
The Geordie duo, the contestants and crew will be tested for COVID-19 every three days throughout the series, with the campmates able to mix freely while they live in the camp as they form their own bubble.
The 2020 series, which kicked off with a bang on ITV on Sunday evening, is expected to last just 20 days – two shorter than normal.
