Bindi Irwin announced she’s expecting her first child with her husband Chandler Powell in August.
And it appears as if proud mum, Terri, 56, has already secured the wildlife warrior’s first postnatal interview.
According to New Idea, Bindi, 22, wants to give exclusive details of Bindi’s birth to a trusted friend, and the Irwin’s have offered Channel Nine veteran entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins the world exclusive.

‘The Irwin’s always make time for Richard for a chat,’ a source told the magazine.
Terri and Richard are said to be working out the details of the interview in a series of zoom chats.
‘If you ask Dickie, who has interviewed the world who his favourite interview subjects are, the Irwin’s are number one,’ added the insider.

The magazine also claimed Bindi will have a home birth at Australia Zoo.
‘This is such a special time for the Irwin family and Bindi thinks it would be amazing to welcome their baby in the world at the zoo,’ the source said.
The news comes months after Terri laughed off false rumours that she was in a ‘secret romance’ with the entertainment reporter.

‘So far it’s 25 men I have had a relationship with. I have kept track because it’s kind of funny,’ she told The Courier Mail in March of the never ending rumours.
The Wildlife Warrior continued: ‘Let’s see, apparently it’s all the Hogans – that’s Paul and Hulk, Russell Crowe, and most recently, it’s Richard Wilkins.’
Bizarrely, the magazine linked Terri and Richard despite the fact that the Weekend Today host was in a relationship with girlfriend Virginia Burmeister at the time.
It comes as Bindi recently showed off her growing baby bump as she revealed she’s ‘getting close to the halfway point’ of her pregnancy.
‘Baby bump is getting bigger! We’re getting close to the halfway point and I think our Australia Zoo animal family is excited to meet our daughter next year,’ she wrote alongside her Instagram photo.
