Kyle Sandilands EXPLODES at Kylie Minogue for failing to show up to her live interview

She may be Australia’s pop darling. 

But Kylie Minogue, 52, landed herself in KIIS FM shock jock Kyle Sandilands’ bad books on Monday after she failed to show up for an early morning interview.  

The songstress was scheduled for a phone interview about her new album DISCO at exactly 6.10am, but when she failed to pick up the phone Kyle, 49, flew into a rage.   

‘Where is Kylie Minogue, is what I’m asking. How many times do I have to ask?’ Kyle demanded.   

Turning to producer Jaimee ‘Mayo’ Hassosm Kyle fumed: ‘Where is the publicist from? What company? Mushroom Records?’ 

‘Ring her up and say, ‘Where is she?’ he added.

Embarrassed by his outburst, Mayo calmly reminded Kyle that Kylie may be listening.  

‘I don’t give a s**t who’s listening!’ Kyle erupted. ‘Do you know how many people are listening waiting to hear Kylie? Get her on!’ 

Eventually, Kyle decided to cancel the entire interview. 

‘Sorry, they’ve missed their spot. Sorry!’ he raged. 

‘We asked for later, and [Kylie’s manager] said ‘impossible to be later.’ Now [she’s] not here. You give us a ring back when you’re ready. God’s sake man. Everything’s cancelled!’  

Later in the show, Kyle and Jackie received a voicemail message from Kylie apologising for her absence. 

‘I’m so sorry, total user error on my part this morning,’ the Slow singer could be heard saying. 

‘I thought I was hooking up with you guys at quarter past the our but it was actually 10 past. I was late, so I missed you on your wild morning show,’ she continued.

‘So, huge apologies, I hope to chat with you again soon,’ Kylie added. 

Placated by Kylie’s heartfelt apology, Kyle mused: ‘See, these things happen. Showbiz, man, showbiz.’
