Lady Gaga talks about her ex-fiancé Taylor Kinney… then tells her current beau she loves him

While campaigning for Joe Biden in Pittsburgh on the eve of Election Day, Lady Gaga reminded her fans she use to live a few hours away with her ex-fiancé Taylor Kinney.

As she addressed a lively crowd at a drive-in rally, the 11-time Grammy winner noted she was previously ‘engaged to a man from Lancaster, Pennsylvania.’

‘I know, I know, it didn’t work out. I loved him so much, it just did not work out. But I still love my Pennsylvania guy. I love Joe! So Joe’s my new Pennsylvania guy!’ she told swing-state voters, after performing her massive hit Shallow.

Memories: While campaigning for Joe Biden in Pittsburgh on the eve of Election Day, Lady Gaga brought up her time living just a few hours away with her ex-fiancé Taylor Kinney

In the middle of singing her next track, You and I, at the piano, she took a moment to apologize to her current beau, Michael Polansky, for talking about her ex, who she dated for five years from 2011 to 2016.

‘To my boyfriend here tonight, I’m sorry I had to do this whole ‘Pennsylvania, I dated a guy here’ thing, I love you so much, but it’s true,’ she said mid-concert.

The Oscar winner and Kinney first met while shooting her music video for You and I, in which he starred as her on-screen love interest.

Meanwhile, the superstar and Polansky were first romantically linked in late 2019, months after she ended her engagement to Christian Carino.

The musical icon also broke her silence on being accused of mocking ‘rednecks’ after she posted a video endorsing Biden for president in head-to-toe camouflage.

‘You know, I put some country clothes on the other day, and said I was voting for Joe and, you know, because I wear Cabela’s when I’m on a four-wheeler in Pennsylvania,’ she began. ‘I will not be told what I can and cannot wear to endorse our future president.

‘So this is what I have to say about that: I might not always look like you, but I am you,’ Gaga continued. ‘We are each other.’

In the remaining days leading up to the US election on Tuesday, November 3, she has worked hard to influence Pennsylvania, which was previously won by Trump won in 2016.

The living legend has been vocal throughout this election season and recently doubled her efforts in a highly produced video that showed the beauty back in her VMA meat dress and Poker Face bodysuit in order to get out the vote.

In an impassioned speech, Gaga – who already mailed in her own ballot – reminded her 44.8 million followers that ‘you can vote early but you can’t vote late’ and directed them to the Howtovote website.

Gaga, who is a vocal advocate for LGBTQA+ rights, women’s rights, BIPOC and sexual assault survivors joked that it was no secret who she was supporting.

‘Let’s be real, you know who I voted for,’ the singer quipped. ‘Even if you disagree with me, your vote still matters to the world.

Adding: ‘You can vote early but you can’t vote late. And Tuesday is your last shot.’
