A savvy Australian home baker has gone viral on TikTok after sharing a video explaining how to make a giant KitKat at home.

Antos, 19, posted the insightful video on October 19 and it has been viewed more than 118,000 times. 

‘So today I tried to make a giant KitKat,’ he said, and revealed he only used two ingredients to make the dessert.

The recipe itself is very simple to follow, and only involves creating layers of chocolate and wafer.

In the video, Antos began by melting an entire block of Cadbury dairy milk chocolate then pours it into the cake tin.

He then adds a layer of wafer biscuits before pouring in more chocolate and repeats the process again until the cake tin is full.

The giant KitKat was then left to set in the freezer overnight before being served.

While Antos attempted to write ‘TikTok’ on the top of the dessert, it didn’t turn out as he hoped, but the homemade KitKat tasted fantastic.
