Amber Heard looked relaxed as she stepped out for groceries in Los Feliz shortly before the verdict of ex-husband Johnny Depp‘s libel case is heard on Monday.

The Hollywood actor, 57, will discover whether he has won his blockbuster libel action against a newspaper which labelled him a ‘wife beater’.

Depp, who strenuously denies wrongdoing, sued publishers of The Sun, News Group Newspapers, and its executive editor Dan Wootton over an article published in April 2018.

The court case took place in London however the defendant isn’t required to travel back for the verdict as it will be published online.

Ahead of the verdict being announced, Amber, 34, was spotted getting some of her grocery shopping done with a friend in southern California on Saturday.

The Aquaman star kept her look casual in a simple navy T-shirt, which she wore tucked into a pair of cropped jeans and styled with monochrome brogues.

Amber covered her face with a mask in accordance with state coronavirus regulations, while also adding a white polka dot neck scarf.

She carried a brown paper bag full of goods from the supermarket in her arms while leaving the store with a friend.

The article Depp is suing the newspaper for stated he had been violent towards his ex-wife Amber and questioned his casting in the Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them franchise.

Both Pirates of the Caribbean actor Depp and Amber gave evidence before Judge Andrew Nicol during a three-week hearing at London‘s High Court.

The extraordinary case in July laid bare their tempestuous private lives as the court was told of allegations of serious domestic abuse, drug taking and affairs.

The judgement in the ‘Depp v News Group Newspapers Ltd’ case will be published online at 10am next Monday and there will be no hearing at court.
