EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Sir Mick Jagger’s ex-lover’ new lingerie line

Sir Mick Jagger’s former lover, Brazilian TV host Luciana Gimenez, shows no sign of slowing down with age.

Despite approaching 51 next week, the mother of Mick’s 21-year-old son, Lucas, reveals she has designed her first line of lingerie — and she’s modelling it herself, naturellement.

‘It’s full of personality, shine, lace and self-esteem,’ she gushes, sharing a picture of herself in the £33 black bra that she made in collaboration with the Brazilian label Uiara Intimates.

No doubt it will catch the eye of her toyboy lover, businessman Eduardo Buffara, who, at 29, is only eight years older than her eldest son.

‘Having a young lover is like having a drip put in my arm,’ she said recently.

Naomi takes aim at the catwalk mobile menaces

In a furious rage, Naomi Campbell once threw a mobile phone at her housekeeper, after which she agreed to take anger management classes.

Now the supermodel is struggling to keep her cool about those pesky hand-held devices, suggesting they should be banned from the catwalk because it stops being people in the moment. ‘Fashion shows have changed now because, with mobile phones, everyone’s videoing; they don’t clap as much as they used to,’ complains the 50-year-old, who swanned down the runway as recently as last year in her Fashion For Relief charity show.

‘Back in the day, in our heyday, it was so much fun,’ she reminisces. ‘The ambience was amazing because people were clapping and we could really feel the audience.’

Filming on your phone also detracts from the glamorous clothes on display. ‘When you’re in the front row, you’re in the show, basically. The cameras are going to get you,’ says Naomi. But, sagely, she refuses to get too worked up over it, acknowledging: ‘There are worse things to be worried about.’

Who says romance can’t blossom in lockdown?

Singer Maddi has bagged an Instaman

Pop singer Maddi Waterhouse — the younger sister of Hollywood actress and model Suki — reveals she’s managed to fall head over heels from the confines of her London flat.

For I can disclose that the Harley Street surgeon’s daughter, 21, is dating 22-year-old film photographer, Johnny Jordan from Belfast.

‘We met via Instagram over lockdown, and our first date was on FaceTime,’ Maddi tells me.

‘The video for my song Greedy is coming out very soon, which Johnny filmed and edited. It was just us two filming around London. We spent £20 in total for the whole thing from renting Santander bikes.’

She credits her older sisters — Suki and fellow actress Imogen — for introducing her to pop, as they listened to ‘a lot of Avril Lavigne, Spice Girls and Destiny’s Child’ growing up.

Beauty guru Charlotte Tilbury knows how to put a gloss on a pandemic. The make-up artist to Kate Moss and Amal Clooney, who sold her company for £1 billion earlier this year, no longer feels guilty being away from her sons, aged six and 11, as she’s now working from home. ‘That has been one of the silver linings to lockdown,’ says Tilbury, 47. ‘Even though I was working crazy hours, I was there for my children. And that has been really special.’

Actor Jamie Dornan said he’s hooked on Biltong

Is this the secret to Jamie Dornan’s strapping physique?

The Fifty Shades Of Grey star reveals the one thing he always has to have in his trailer is . . . a muscle-building snack.

‘I’m obsessed with this stuff called Biltong, which is South African but you can get it everywhere now,’ admits the 38-year-old.

‘It’s basically a dried-out meat. It’s a fancier version of jerky, I guess. But jerky’s quite dry.

‘I’m one of those people who is only happy if I’m eating, so I try to make sure my trailer’s stocked with stuff that’s filling and high-protein and will keep me going for a bit.’

(Very) modern manners

What’s the best way to pick your next book when you can’t visit an actual shop?

I hear the literary world is alight with a new, personalised subscription service offered by the Queen’s favourite bookshop, Heywood Hill, in London’s Mayfair.

‘It’s a bit like having an angel on your shoulder,’ director Nicky Dunne tells me, explaining that his booksellers — who each read at least 100 books a year — chat to their subscribers about their tastes, and send them titles to satisfy their literary appetites each month.

Dunne’s also instituted a prize, Shelf Improvement For Life. ‘Nominate someone you admire, explaining why, by midnight on Sunday, November 8,’ he says, ‘and win a hand-picked hardback book a month for life, anywhere in the world.’
