‘It’s real meat and it’s organic’: Former Bachelor star Laura Byrne says her one-year-old daughter Marlie-Mae eats DOG FOOD ‘all the time’

Laura Byrne has revealed that her daughter often eats the family dog’s food.

On Friday, the season five Bachelor winner, 31, shared on her Life Uncut podcast that her one-year-old Marlie-Mae eats Buster’s dog food ‘all the time.’

Her co-host Brittany Hockley added: ‘Kids eat cat and dog food all the time, it actually can’t taste that bad!’

Laura continued: ‘Marlie will pick up Buster’s dog food and carry it around like four little pellets in her hand and just eat them like they’re sultanas or snacks.’

‘And every so often I’m like “what’s in your mouth?” – which is the most common phrase any mother says to their child – and she’s just chomping away on some dog food,’ she laughed.

Brittany said: ‘To be fair, if you’re buying really good pet food these days.’

‘Most of it is actually real meat and its organic, and you can get really great stuff so it’s probably not anything bad,’ she added.

Laura clarified that her rescue dog only eats the best, saying: ‘I mean Buster is an Eastern suburbs dog. His dog food is premium sh*t.’

It comes after Laura recently revealed her interesting theory about the gender of her unborn baby.

While she and her fiancé, Matthew ‘Matty J’ Johnson, have chosen to keep it a surprise, the podcast host explained in an Instagram Q&A that she was getting ‘boy vibes’.

‘I’m getting very strong boy vibes, which means absolutely nothing because I also got very strong boy vibes when I had Marlie-Mae [her daughter]. So… It’s probably a girl.’

Matthew and Laura announced last month they were expecting their second child together.

The couple fell in love on The Bachelor in 2017 and got engaged in April last year.

They welcomed their first child, daughter Marlie-Mae Rose Johnson, in 2019.
