Human Nature will be returning to the stage to play a ‘Christmas In The Park’ concert in Perth.

The Australian boy band shared the exciting news to Instagram on Friday, revealing they’ll be performing at Kings Park and Botanic Gardens on December 12.

‘Hey Perth, we are so excited to announce our first show back for 2020!’ the post read.

‘HUMAN NATURE: Christmas In The Park Saturday 12th December Kings Park and Botanic Gardens Perth, Australia.’

‘We can’t wait to come sing & celebrate together with you all under the stars at Kings Park with very special guest 1927!’

The boy band will perform hit songs from The Christmas Album and Motown covers, as well as their latest single Nobody Just Like You.

The Australian group, which formed in the late 1980s, consists of Toby Allen, Phil Burton and brothers Andrew and Mike Tierney.

Phil is already in New South Wales but the other three members will fly back to WA  from Los Angeles in November to start quarantine.

Meanwhile, Andrew told PerthNow on Friday, the group are thrilled to be returning to Australia to perform.

‘To come back to Perth, and Kings Park is just this beautiful venue, we’re thrilled that we could do that and make a start to the return of live entertainment in Australia,’ he said.

He added: ‘Christmas is a joyful time but I think this year, more than ever, people are going to want to enjoy it and forget what’s been a fairly dark year.’

Human Nature began in 1989 as ‘4 Trax’, when the members represented their school, Hurlstone Agricultural High, in a local concert in Bankstown, Sydney.

After signing a deal with Sony in 1995, the band released the triple platinum-selling album Telling Everybody in 1996.

Human Nature has since released 13 albums, including hit singles He Don’t Love You and Every Time You Cry.
