The Block’s Tash Pavlou is furious after being told her bathroom needs to be completely redone

‘It’s just to scare us!’ The Block’s Tash Pavlou is furious after being told her upstairs bathroom needs to be completely redone at a whopping cost of $30,000… as foreman Dan Reilly warns it could lose them the show

There were more issues with Harry and Tash Pavlou’s home during Tuesday’s episode of The Block.

The father and daughter team were told their upstairs bathroom would need to be ripped out and completely redone at an estimated cost of $30,000.

But after calculating a much lower cost for the repairs, a furious Tash, 32, was convinced foremen Dan Reilly and Keith Schleiger were trying to ‘scare’ them.

Keith and Dan called Harry, 57, to the upstairs bathroom after discovering some major faults in the construction of the newly renovated space.

The foremen noticed the angles, which are designed to stop leaks, were missing from the joints in the bathroom.

‘This whole bathroom’s got to come out,’ Keith told a shocked Harry.

‘Mate, this is going to cost a fortune. There’s $25,000 at least in this,’ added Dan.

Dan explained that ‘everything’ in the bathroom would need to be ripped up so that it could be re-waterproofed and the angles could be added.

‘We’ve got to go back to frame,’ he told Harry, before Keith asked how his budget was looking.

‘Now? Right now? S**thouse,’ responded Harry bluntly of his dire financial situation.

Dan told Harry he needed to call Tash so they could ‘really start budgeting’, as Keith warned him he’d be out of pocket ‘$20,000 to $30,000’ for the bathroom repairs.

‘You’ve got to be on top of these boys. There’s too many mistakes happening,’ Dan told Harry of his contractors.

'It's frustrating. I thought we were done with the whole bathroom situation, but it's back. It's fricken back!' fumed Tash

He warned: ‘It’s costing you money, which could cost you The Block.’

Harry then had the unenviable task of calling his daughter, Tash, to tell her what had transpired with the upstairs bathroom.

Despite Keith telling him the bathroom would cost $30,000 to repair, Harry said he went and did his own ‘calculations’, and estimated it would be closer to $5,000.

‘Where’s he getting that from? Dad, it’s just to scare us!’ asked a furious Tash after Harry told her Keith had quoted him $30,000.

She added: ‘The bathroom didn’t even cost us $30,000!’
