Piers Morgan has claimed he and Paris Hilton are married.
The TV anchor, 55, reminded Good Morning Britain viewers on Tuesday that he took part in a stunt for a TV show in 2009, about how easy it was to tie the knot in Las Vegas.
In the segment, Piers and the hotel heiress, 39, were married in front of an Elvis Presley impersonator, with Paris wearing an ivory gown designed by Enozoani, complete with veil and white rose bouquet.

The groom even got to kiss the bride at the end of it.
Stunned GMB co-host Susanna Reid branded Piers – who married Celia Walden in 2010 – ‘a bigamist’.
‘She’s still my wife technically. We got married in Vegas for a TV show. True story, there’s video of it,’ he said, throwing to a clip from the special moment.
‘We had an Elvis lookalike, a Frank Sinatra lookalike, a Marilyn Monroe lookalike. She wore a beautiful bridal gown, brought a dog with her, I got to kiss the bride, we exchanged rings.

Here comes the groom: Even Piers had a special outfit designed for the occasion – a blue suit and tie, designed by Pal Zaleri, with Prada shoes.

‘Does this mean you’re a bigamist?’ Susanna asked, but he assured her the stunt was not legal.
‘It cost us $300 and it was all over in 15 minutes. That’s my kind of romance,’ Piers joked.
In the show, Paris walked down the aisle to the Dean Martin classic That’s Amore with her pet Pomeranian, and the Marilyn impersonator as a bridesmaid.

In the original broadcast, Piers said: ‘You know what it’s like, you have a few drinks, spend too long on the blackjack table, get over-excited and decide to do something silly.
‘Paris scrubbed up to be a very beautiful bride!’
Paris remarked: ‘Remember Piers: What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!’

They split, however, which she later declared was ‘the best decision of her life’.
She is now in a relationship with entrepreneur Carter Reum.
