Wedding bells! Jimmy Bartel’s girlfriend Lauren Mand announces exciting ENGAGEMENT news after a ‘weekend to remember’
Lauren Mand has hinted she is engaged to retired Geelong Cats star Jimmy Bartel, her boyfriend of one year.
The socialite told her Instagram followers on Monday that she had ‘big news’ to share, after spending the weekend in lockdown with the AFL legend.
‘Weekend to remember, BIG news!! Can’t wait to celebrate post-lockdown,’ Lauren wrote alongside a glamorous selfie.

While her post certainly sounded like a personal announcement, it seems she was actually celebrating her younger sister’s engagement.
She subsequently shared a photo of her sister posing with her new fiancé below a balloon shaped like a diamond ring.
Lauren is believed to have spent the weekend with Jimmy, 36, and his sons, Aston, four, and Henley, one, in Melbourne.
The couple have been dating publicly for about a year, after being pictured together for the first time in August 2019.

The happy news comes after Daily Mail Australia reported that Lauren was being targeted by a ‘hate account’ on Instagram.
The profile, which is run anonymously, recently uploaded several cruel posts about the blonde and her relationship with Jimmy.
Lauren has yet to comment on the online harassment.

The engagement speculation comes more than a year after Jimmy split from his wife, fashion designer Nadia Bartel.
The Bartels announced their separation on August 15 last year, but are believed to have actually parted ways two months prior.
The pair married in February 2014 in a lavish ceremony on the Bellarine Peninsula.
