The Bachelor’s Areeba Emmanuel is left furious during an emotionally charged cocktail party

Thursday’s episode of The Bachelor set the scene for what’s to come, with a preview for Sunday’s episode teasing an explosive cocktail party.

With the girls all falling over themselves to steal a moment with Bachelor Locky Gilbert, there were plenty of tears and tantrums.

Feeling ‘threatened’, an emotional Roxi Kenny stole the 30-year-old Bachelor away for a heartfelt conversation.

‘It’s so s**tty. I just feel forgotten already,’ the 29-year-old admitted in between tears.

And while Locky may have been sympathetic to Roxi’s emotions, resident queen bee Areeba Emmanuel was less than impressed.

After spying the two of them having a private exchange, Areeba, 25, was left furious, and accused Roxi of playing up her emotions to win Locky over.

‘Why are you crying this whole night? Why? What is wrong with you? It’s embarrassing,’ she fumed.

Areeba then stormed off the show’s set, with friend Juliette Herrera chasing after her, urging her to come back.

‘I am so angry. Like, I can’t even put into words right now…’ she seethed.

She added: ‘It takes a lot for Areeba to get upset, and Areeba is upset.’

Emotions were running high at the cocktail party after a giddy Nicole Campbell returned from a leisurely one-on-one date with Locky.

The 26-year-old happily showed off her rose to the others, prompting the remaining girls to make a beeline for Locky in a desperate bid to win him over.
