He’s one of the stars of cult Netflix show Selling Sunset. 

But real estate mogul Jason Oppenheim, 43, has said he wouldn’t have signed up for the show had he known how much it would focus on the cast’s personal lives. 

In an interview with Hello!, in which he posed with co-star Amanza Smith in his home, Jason said he realises now that a show about real estate alone probably wouldn’t have been so interesting.

He said: ‘Had I known the show would be this focused on our personal lives I probably wouldn’t have signed up for it.

‘I wanted it to be all about the nuances of real estate, but I now realise the show I envisaged wouldn’t be that popular!

‘I’ve come to accept the idea that I’m on more of a reality show than a real-estate show.’

Season three saw Chrishell Stause deal with her divorce, Jason get a new girlfriend, Christine Quinn get married and Amanza Smith deal with being a single mother.  

Jason trained as a lawyer and he and his twin brother Brett own real estate company, The Oppenheim Group in Los Angeles. 

He now owns four properties in the Hollywood Hills worth a total of $20million, (£15million).

And he posed for pictures in the first property he bought, a $1.3million three-bedroom home which he had completely re-modelled. 

Fans are convinced the show is being commissioned for a fourth season after Chrishell Stause shared that there is some ‘good news’ on Instagram. 

Posing with her co-stars, she wrote: ‘Carpe Diem!! Celebrating good news we can’t tell you about #SellingSunset #Season3 #Netflix.’

She shared a second picture and wrote: ‘There is a heat wave in LA. Stay hydrated More pics from yesterday! 

‘The BEST time. We paid for it a little today Worth it! #SellingSunset #Netflix #NowStreaming #GirlsDay #squad #WAP.’

During season three of the real estate reality show, she suffered a very public break-up with husband Justin Hartley. 

She claims he told her he was filing for divorce via text, leaving her blindsided. 

Stause recently liked several tweets that claimed Justin had cheated on her, allegedly with new girlfriend Sofia Pernas.
