Mariah shares twins Monroe and Moroccan Scott, with media personality Nick Cannon.

This month, Cannon, 39, was let go from Viacom/CBS, where he had a long-running contract, due to anti-semitic remarks he both supported and made on a recent podcast.

The Wild N’ Out creator and host tweeted his regrets for the comments, extending ‘deepest and most sincere apologies to my Jewish sisters and brothers’.

As for Mariah, she’s looking ahead to the impending publication of her tell-all memoir, The Meaning Of Mariah Carey, to hit bookshelves on September 29th.

The Emotions hitmaker announced the publication date on her Instagram last month, with a caption fittingly accented with butterfly emojis.

And the day before that, the Grammy winner shared the back cover of the upcoming autobiography, which features a heartfelt personal note.

The book is well-timed, as it comes in a year marked by much Mariah-mania – in addition to social media campaigns like #justiceforglitter and #justiceforEMC2 helping her previous albums hit no. 1 on the iTunes chart, this year marks the 30 yeah anniversary of the artist’s groundbreaking self-titled debut album.
