A woman who was missing her soaks in the bath after moving into a new flat with only a shower has impressed Facebook users with her ingenious solution.  

Sharon Guichard, who works in Greenwich, found an inflatable tub for £40 on Amazon, which she installed in the wet room so she could enjoy a relaxing bath in her home. 

She shared pictures of the tub on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group. 

People loved her idea and praised Sharon’s resourcefulness. Some noted the tub could be particularly handy for parents of young children or those on a budget.

‘Really missed my baths since moving into a flat with only a wet room. Got this from Amazon for £40 and its amazing,’ Sharon said, sharing a snap of the tub. 

The inflatable, which is slightly bigger than a regular sized bathtub, was propped under Sharon’s shower.

The comfy and practical bath even came equipped with a neck pillow, a cup holder and a inflatable tray table.

Many wondered how Sharon would go about emptying the several litres of water contained in the tub, but she explained it had been designed with an easy to empty system.

Her tub comes with a plug hole at the bottom to easily empty the water.  

Several similar tubs can be found on Amazon. Some are equipped with an anti-slipping mat, several holes for inflating and deflating, and can be folded for storage. 

People loved Sharon’s idea, with many who only have showers admitting they miss taking baths.
