Loren injected some personality into her space with dark blue paint, and safari-inspired wallpaper from The Range
Before the project, the downstairs loo had plain white walls and wooden floors. Its decor was simple but impersonal, with one black photo frame above the loo and just one glass shelf above the sink.
The couple went for a ‘brave and bold’ style, with safari-inspired wallpaper and panther and giraffe-shaped ornaments to match.
Elsewhere, the replaced the standard mirror with a black framed version, and added a colourful towel and plant to contiue the jungle theme.

Loren explained the couple picked a towel rail for £9, a £5 towel, shelves at £6 each, fake ivy plant and pot for £9, a £10 tall plant and a £3 pot from Ikea.
During a trip to their local The Range shop, they bought some wallpaper at £20 a roll, sapphire paint for £13, some £8 beading, a giraffe figure for £7 – cheaper because of a small defect – and a panther ornament for £10.
She explained that the IKEA plant was too big for the space and had been moved to another side of the house to free some room.
