An Australian woman has shared her recipe for the $5 homemade grout cleaner that has completely ‘transformed’ her floors at home – and you can do it within 15 minutes.
The mum, who goes by the name Mama Mila, said it is ‘so satisfying’ to deep clean your floors every so often – and it’s not even that difficult.
‘This is the $5 homemade grout cleaner that transformed my floors,’ Mila captioned her video on TikTok.

Mila explained that you need to mix half a cup of baking soda and a third of a cup of hydrogen peroxide in a bowl, before applying it to your floors with a scrubbing brush (pictured)
First, Mila explained that you need to mix half a cup of baking soda and a third of a cup of hydrogen peroxide in a bowl, before applying it to your floors with a scrubbing brush.
Mila said she used a three per cent hydrogen peroxide, which she found from Woolworths for $4.
‘Leave it on for 10 minutes,’ Mila said.
Doing this will mean that it has the chance to absorb and soak into your floors.
You should apply and leave it on for 10 minutes, before scrubbing and mopping it off with a scrubbing brush (pictured)
Once the 10 minutes is up, Mila said you should ‘gently scrub and mop off’ the mixture with your scrubbing brush.
You can then run over your floors with a mop to make sure there is nothing left on it and the floors are spotlessly clean.
‘The grout is cleaned and brightened,’ Mila added.

Thousands who saw the trick online said they would test it out for themselves.
‘That looks so easy, I love this tip,’ one woman posted.
‘I can’t wait to try this, I’m so excited,’ another added.
A third suggested you could also try it on shower tiles on the walls if they are in need of a spruce.
