Former MasterChef judge and food critic Matt Preston has been sharing his favourite quick-and-easy recipes on Instagram while in lockdown.
And on Thursday, the 59-year-old delighted his social media followers with his extremely simple peanut butter cookie recipe.
The recipe requires just three ingredients: one cup of sugar, one cup of peanut butter (crunchy or smooth), and one egg.

The TV personality mixed the sugar with the egg in a bowl, before adding the cup of peanut butter.
After combining the ingredients, he dipped his hands into another bowl with warm water and oil, and shaped the mixture into balls.
He placed the peanut balls on a tray lined with baking paper, then flattened each with a fork and sprinkled a little salt on top.

The culinary expert put the tray in a preheated oven and baked the cookies at 190°C until golden, before allowing them to cool.
Matt’s simple recipe comes after he and fellow ex-MasterChef judge Gary Mehigan were bizarrely edited out of the promo for Channel Seven’s new cooking show Plate of Origin due to ‘contractual issues’ with Channel 10.
Last week, Seven released the first trailer for the upcoming program, but the identities of the three judges weren’t revealed – despite them already being public knowledge.

It has previously been advertised that Matt and Gary will judge the show alongside Manu Feildel, but the trailer failed to mention their names.
Instead, a voice over teased: ‘For the first time, three superstars of food will come together for an event like no other.’
Seven has reportedly been prevented from Matt and Gary in Plate of Origin advert because they are still contractually bound to Channel 10.
