Helen Hunt, 57, flaunts phenomenal figure in black bikini while taking a refreshing dip in Malibu

Oscar winner Helen Hunt flaunted her phenomenal 5ft7in figure in a black bikini while taking a refreshing dip in the Pacific Ocean in Malibu on Thursday.

The Mad About You producer-star easily defied her 57 years in the two-piece swimsuit, despite never dieting or going to the gym.

‘I don’t go to a gym ever. I don’t diet ever. I used to diet but sometime after the eighties, it made me miserable,’ Helen confessed to Healthy Living Magazine back in 2015.

‘I do like to walk, run, and I do like to surf when I can just to warm it up, and I do enjoy doing yoga when I can get there. It’s a religion for me to never diet. I think it makes you unhappy.

‘It makes for unhappy things, so I just decided I would rather not have the perfect body, not have the body I want than diet. And when I dropped the idea of dieting, my body went closer to the way that I was wanting it to be. So for me, it’s never worked.’

On Wednesday, Hunt recommended three of British author Zadie Smith’s novels – On Beauty (2005), Swing Time (2016), and White Teeth (2000) – to her fans.

The LA native – who boasts 2.2M social media followers – gushed: ‘The most nourishing thing I’ve done since March is read these three books. Incredible.’

Missing from Helen’s side was her 16-year-old daughter Makena Lei Gordon from her 16-year romance with Valley of the Boom creator Matthew Carnahan, which ended in 2017.

‘My daughter and I, committed to physical distancing, are trying to find our way,’ Hunt wrote in March about the COVID-19 crisis.

‘To all of you out there who still hang with friends who haven’t quarantined, or feel somehow it doesn’t apply to you, I can only ask you and myself to stay with it, stay in. The more we stay in the sooner this is over.

‘It’s math. If you’re okay one minute and totally lost the next…me too. All my love to all of you with a special shout outs to the single moms. We got this.’
