Lunching with the Hemsworths! Brothers Chris, Liam and Luke join partners and father for bite to eat

The Hemsworth clan all call the idyllic Byron Bay home.

And on Friday, the close-knit family stepped out together in the tourist hot spot for a low-key lunch with friends.

Hollywood heavyweight Chris, 36, and wife Elsa Pataky, 43, joined his brothers Liam, 30, and Luke, 38, and their father Craig, 60, for a bite to eat at a local restaurant.

Liam’s model girlfriend Gabriella Brooks was also there, showing off her trim pins in a pair of denim cuts off, which she teamed with a grey T-shirt.

Chris and Elsa braved the chilly winter weather in matching grey sweaters, while Liam wore a grey T-shirt and shorts.

Westworld star Luke, whose wife Samantha was missing from the outing, covered up in jeans and a grey jacket.

Chris and Elsa own a $20million mega-mansion in Byron Bay.

It was reported in November last year that the Hemsworths purchased another estate for $4.25million nearby.

It is understood Liam will live at the latest property purchase, which was made in late October by the Hemsworth family’s company, CHLH Management.

While Chris is listed as a director, the name of the company (CHLH) also bears Liam’s initials, which suggests the younger Hemsworth has an interest in the property.

In 2019, Luke and wife Samantha relocated from Los Angeles to Byron Bay with their family.

Craig and Leonie are believed to live in a $4.3million house at Suffolk Park.

In January, Elsa spoke to Vogue Australia about living Down Under with Chris and their three children, saying their old life in Hollywood had been ‘consuming’.

‘I feel Hollywood consumes you in such a way that it feels like work all the time. I think when you’re in it you don’t even realise but when you get out, it changes everything,’ Elsa said.

She added that she had always dreamed of raising her children in nature, and relocating to the Australian coast allowed her to do that.

‘I wanted to pick my kids up, I wanted to take them to school, I wanted to be part of the school and be involved in what they do,’ she said.

Life in Byron Bay has also allowed Elsa to have a farm with horses, which she regularly rides with her daughter, India.

She explained: ‘When we were trying to find a property, I had to have a place where I could have horses and my kids could be with them and enjoy that, too.’

Having lived in the quiet community since 2014, the Spanish actress now feels ‘privileged’ to enjoy such a beautiful life.

Chris and Elsa share three children together, daughter India Rose, eight, and twin sons Tristan and Sasha, six.
