Shay Mitchell is open to the idea of another child after the birth of her daughter Atlas

She’s totally over the moon with her stunning baby girl, and although she’s not quite ready to have another child, she’s open to the idea.

Shay Mitchell was a remote guest on Access Hollywood on Tuesday, and during her appearance she discussed motherhood now that she’s mom to adorable baby girl Noa Atlas, eight months.

And when asked about the idea of another tot, the 33-year-old Pretty Little Liars star feigned a bit of a hot flash, fanning herself and jokingly saying, ‘It’s getting hot in here!’ 

But joking aside, Shay mentioned that ‘if that is how everything goes, then awesome, I would welcome it.’

‘You have no idea,’ she continued. ‘It’s such a crazy thing, as I’ve learned from this past experience. You can only hope for so much.’

Mitchell was surely referring to the difficult road she endured to getting pregnant with her partner Matte Babel.

Last year, the couple revealed that before baby Atlas, Shay suffered a miscarriage in 2018. 

Thankfully, Shay was able to give birth to her daughter last fall, and the little girl is truly precious.

And Mitchell isn’t the only one besotted by Atlas – dad Matte is ‘wrapped around her finger more and more,’ she said.

‘He is the best! He’s the best dad. He’s so in love with her, and they just have such a special connection too, so it’s incredible.’

And like most young mothers, Shay’s own mom is putting the pressure on her for more grandkids.

‘I’m just as curious and as excited as I think my mom is,’ Shay said of the prospect of another baby.

‘She’s like, “So, ready for another one?” I’m like, “Not yet,”‘ she added, putting up a hand. ‘I’m enjoying this stage with Atlas.’
