He continued: ‘The bath was £100 off eBay, brand new but the person had missed their returns period.  The floor tiles were end of line discontinued and less than £100 for the lot. We kept wall tiling to a minimum rather than full wall tiling. All taps, sinks and fittings were again bargain prices off eBay.

‘The sink vanity unit is an upcycled sideboard which we originally bought for £50. All in we refitted the whole bathroom for around £2,000.’

And followers praised the look, with one writing: ‘Yes to all of this. yes to the recessed shelving in the wet areas and yes to the industrial looking shower screens. YES TO ALL THE THINGS.’

Another said: ‘It’s one of those rooms that will always give u a little smile when u walk on…. beautiful’.

Elsewhere one said: ‘I cannot explain how much of my life I actually spend daydreaming of having a bath like that’.
