Police are on the hunt for a woman after eight bottles of gin were stolen from a Marks and Spencer in Canterbury. 

The eight bottles of alcohol – worth £315 – were stolen from Marks & Spencer in St George’s Street, Whitefriars, at around 3.45pm on June 1.

CCTV footage of a blonde woman in the food retailer’s store has been released.

The woman is wearing all white clothes, flip flops and sunglasses atop her head. She can be seen carrying a Co-Op bag.

In one of the still images, she can be seen rummaging in the bright blue bag. 

The police have urged anyone with any information relating to the incident to call the appeal line on 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/92768/20.
