Some might think that Poh Ling Yeow is set to win MasterChef Australia this season.
But now Emelia Jackson has emerged as the new fan favourite to take out the series, after she won an immunity pin after Tuesday’s insane 75-step pressure test.
Emelia – alongside contestants Brendan Pang, Simon Toohey and Khanh Ong – battled it out to recreate guest chef Kirsten Tiddballs’ mouth-watering watermelon dessert cocktail.

Fans flocked to Twitter to say how Emelia breezed through the challenge and how the sweet queen is the star to watch.
‘OMG my girl Emelia won the immunity challenge?? I’ve been saying since day 1, she’s gonna win this!’ one fan tweeted.
They added that some fans might be forgetting that Emelia showcased her talent on season six of the show.

‘Some people haven’t watched season six and it shows… just because she’s been paid dust in terms of screen time this season doesn’t mean it’s coming out of nowhere!’
Meanwhile other fans said that the pressure test on Tuesday was Emelia’s ‘time to shine.’
‘I’m so glad Emelia is getting a chance to shine, she was my favourite and the standout of her season – she should have won for sure,’ one fan remarked.

They also said that they would love to see Emelia with her own cooking show.
‘Happy to watch a show of just Emelia cooking with chocolate from now till eternity,’ they said.
During Tuesday night’s pressure test, the MasterChef contestants were tasked with recreating chocolate queen Kirsten Tiddballs’ famous ‘meljito’.
She cut the watermelon cocktail open to reveal a white chocolate sphere coated with freeze-dried raspberry and dipped in two shades of green chocolate.
The treat was also filled with layers of whipped white chocolate chantilly cream, watermelon and vodka jelly, mint and lime madeleine, and marinated watermelon.
