How to make golden syrup dumplings in a slow cooker 

Ingredients for dumplings:

1 & 1/2 cup of self-raising flour

1 tablespoon butter

1/3 cup milk

1/3 cup Golden Syrup

Ingredients for sauce:

2.5 cups boiling water

2/3 cup Golden Syrup

1/2 cup brown sugar

1.5 tablespoon butter

Method:

Combine all dumpling ingredients in a bowl and roll into small balls before placing in slow cooker

In another bowl, combine all sauce ingredients and pour gently over the dumplings in the slow cooker

Cook on high setting for one hour and 20 minutes

Serve with ice cream or cream
