‘This has literally made my life’: EastEnders fans go wild as Keith from The Office makes a cameo on the soap
EastEnders viewers went wild on Tuesday night when Keith from The Office made a surprise cameo.
Ewen MacIntosh, 46, best known for his role as the monosyllabic accountant in the hit Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant comedy, played a delivery man in the soap.
In his humorous cameo, he was dropping off a memorial bench for Ian Beale even though Adam Woodyatt’s character was still alive.

Ian became increasingly frustrated as Ewen’s character questioned why he would need such a bench.
Fans were quick to spot The Office actor and showed their love for Ewen on social media.
One said: ‘Big Keith appearing on EastEnders has literally made my life.’

Other fans of the shows made reference to Keith’s habit of eating scotch eggs throughout The Office.
One fan wrote: ‘Big Keith from The Office in #EastEnders. Disappointed with the lack of scotch eggs though.’
Another said: ‘Keith from The Office delivering a bench to Ian Beale in EastEnders, not a scotch egg in sight!’

Ewen had his break with the cult role of Keith in the 2001-2003 workplace sitcom.
The deadpan character, who was the DJ at the office parties and dressed up as Ali G for Comic Relief, had few lines but made a big impression on fans.
He went on to star in Casualty, Miranda, Little Britain after the sitcom finished.
