Cardi B gets in on the Tiger King trend as she captions a curvaceous selfie with Carole Baskin’s catchphrase: ‘Hello cool cats and kittens’

She’s been one of the primary stars of social media since this pandemic started, with her panicky testimonials about coronavirus or her recent unfortunate encounter with some bikini wax.

And on Monday, rapper Cardi B added more to the mix with a flirty and curvaceous Instagram selfie, in which she’s seen standing on a balcony overlooking a city at night in metallic cream-colored short leggings and a white sports bra.

In an effort to stay on top of the trends, the Bodak Yellow performer, 27, captioned the snap with a reference to the uber-popular Netflix docuseries Tiger King, writing, ‘Hello cool cats and kittens’.

The phrase, which in fact goes more like ‘Hello all you cool cats and kittens,’ is one uttered repeatedly on the show by one Carole Baskin, owner and operator of the Big Cat Rescue Sanctuary near Tampa, Florida.

In the photo, Cardi models a fun pink hairstyle, complete with a giant hair-made bow atop her head, along with a fierce row of bangs.

The hip hop artist, born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, also sports heart-shaped diamond earrings in the shot, along with a gold choker.

And she isn’t the only celebrity continuing to show Tiger King and its zany characters some love from isolation – also on Monday, self-made billionaire Kylie Jenner and her bestie Stassie Karanikolaou took part in a fun viral challenge on TikTok.

Stassie filmed herself and Kylie doing the ‘Savage Tiger King Edition’ challenge, which they did while dancing in sexy string bikinis.

The sonic mash-up features lines from the Netflix true-crime series, which questioned whether Baskin murdered her missing husband Don Lewis, set against the beat of Megan Thee Stallion’s track Savage.

As the pair giggle and dance, you can hear audio that says: ‘Carole Baskin killed her husband, whacked him. Can’t convince me that it didn’t happen. Fed him to tigers, they snackin’. What’s happening? Carole Baskin.’

Cardi, meanwhile, hasn’t only been partaking in fun and games during this difficult time in isolation – she has remained politically active, recently video-chatting with former presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, and is also partaking in cash giveaways with her partners at Fashion Nova for those of her fans in need.
